At Balance the length of your massage is the hands on time you receive on the table.  Please allow time for consultation and transition on and off the table.  To provide optimum care extra time is allowed in each massage session for review of your current needs - at no extra charge to you.

For best possible treatment: Analgesic Balms and Liniments, Aromatherapy, Moving and Stationary Cup Massage, Cold and Heat modalities including hot packs, moist packs, warm bamboo and hot stones may be included at no additional charge.

Melt away stress, relax sore muscles, reduce blood pressure, improve circulation, promote health and feel great.

Recommended for relaxation/stress management and pain relief.

Customized to your needs by combining massage and bodywork techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial, trigger point, orthopedic assessment, warm stone and/or cold therapy, assisted stretching, and sports.

Prenatal techniques, cupping therapy, lymphatic and ashiatsu will be included as necessary or by request. Please let me know in advance.

Ashiatsu (Barefoot) Massage

Deep relaxation - gliding strokes and gentle muscle compression are delivered using clean, bare feet providing deep tissue results with the comfort of Swedish massage.

Bars attached to the ceiling provide support and balance for the therapist and allow for adjustments in pressure from light to firm.

Your ashiatsu session will combine posterior footwork to include back, hamstrings, and glutes with hands on detailing for areas like the face, neck, hands, and feet.

Cupping Massage

The ancient tradition of cupping therapy is combined with traditional massage techniques to increase lymph circulation, stimulate the nervous system, open meridians, bring blood flow to muscles and skin, loosen adhesions and stubborn knots in soft tissue.

Please note that cupping is most effective on areas that are naturally free of body hair and may leave discolored markings on the skin.
